Safer Internet Day- SID
Every February, we take part in Safer Internet Day as well as teaching about Safer Internet usage through PSHE and the Computing curriculum.
The theme in February 2023 for Safer Internet Day was 'Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online'.
The day offered children with the opportunity to focus on both the creative things that children are doing online, as well as the role and responsibility that everybody has in helping create a better internet.
Safer Internet Day is organised in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, to promote the safe and responsible use of online technology and mobile phones for children and young people. Parents and Carers can access further information about Online Safety through the Parents section of the website.
