Every year, we take part in Anti-Bullying week, where we run workshops and activities to inform children about the negative effects of bullying, and how to deal with bullying. Click on the link below to find out more.
In February 2022, we took the Year 3 and Year 4 children to experience a workshop where they learnt about Islam and Pakistan and what it was like for a Pakistani Muslim to grow up in Yorkshire. The children enjoyed the event and and photographs can be viewed in the Gallery section of the website.
We have supported national charities such as Children in Need and Red Nose Day again this year. We came to school dressed as super-heroes, set up activities and challenges, and sold merchandise to raise money.
Some children in Class 2 went to Holme St Cuthbert's School to take part in an African workshop. The children learnt about the different culture in Africa; including music, dance and clothing.
We have collected donations for the North Lakes Foodbank at Harvest again this year.
